Blogware or Blogger Blog with a single click of your mouse…

Blogs(A.K.A. - Weblogs) are the BIGGEST thing going right now online because of there many uses for both the Web Surfer and the Internet Marketer.
But, you probably already know that so for the purpose of this article I'm not going to talk about 'Blogs' in general because I'm sure you've read enough about them by now and/or you already have a few kicking around the net. What I'm going to share with you Right Now is something I discovered while surfing the net researching Tag and Ping tactics and Social Bookmarkleting because I run more then a few blogs online and wanted to find out how I could take advantage of this whole Tag and Ping and Social Bookmarkleting thing with as little effort as possible.

If your new to this whole Tag and Ping game then let me give you a quick summary of what a Tag is and what a Ping is so there's no confusion as you continue through this article.

*Tags* - Tags are simply *category names* and are selected by you using keywords around whatever niche your blogging about and are included within each post you make, that is, if your blog is set up for Tags.

*Ping* - By Pinging your letting the weblog trackers(like Technorati for example) and the search engines now that your blog has been updated with fresh content and is ready for their spiders to come and crawl your blog for indexing into their databases.

This is where the - Tags - come into play for your blogs posts because as soon as the social bookmarkleting service spiders your blog, it will list your post under that given Tag you chose. So it's very important you choose your Tags wisely.
Now that you know the basics of the Tag and Ping concept, lets now get into what I discovered so you too can incorporate it into your blogging mix, whether you use Wordpress, Blogware or Blogger as your blogging software.

But before I do, lets first talk about what Social Bookmarkleting is for a quick minute.

Social Bookmarkleting, just in case your not quite sure, is simply a collection of your favorite articles, blogs, music, restaurant reviews, photo's or whatever it is that you find interesting on the web and is saved into your public profile through whatever Social Bookmarkleting service you choose.

Technorati, Digg, del.icio.us, furl are just a few Social Bookmarkleting services available on the web which is why I'm writing this article because I discovered a COOL plugin that you can use on Wordpress, Blogware and Blogger blogs that will connect you to over 50+ social bookmarkleting services through one click of your mouse giving y our blog audience multiple options to share your blog post or blog with the world which in turn will increase your traffic and popularity of your blog.

Lets face it, adding 50+ social bookmarkleting buttons to your blog would be a VERY tedious endevour so why not take the short cut for a change and install this plugin and let your reader make his or her choice.

To take advantage of this plugin right now go to Socialize-It.com - http://www.socialize-it.com

This plugin is absolutely FREE and only takes minutes to install on your blog.

Make sure your choose your Tag wisely as well. I recommend you go to Technorati - http://www.technorati.com - and look at the TOP 100 tags since Technorati is the BIG Daddy in the blogosphere.

(TIP: The bigger and bolder the Tag the more popular the topic is.)

After you've done that, start Blogging.

The more posts you make, the more pages you'll generate with the "Social ize-It" button helping spread the word about your blog and getting your blog added in whatever Social Bookmarkleting service database your blog reader is apart of.

Finally - an Easy Way to Buld Links to Your Main Websites with Blogger Blogs

Hello, dear online marketer fellow and thanks for reading my articke which I am sure, will show you how to deploy another weapon in your link building arsenal. I will show you how to use Blogger (owned by Google) to get back links to your main websites and catapult them to the top of the search engines.

First, I need to answer one question - is it worth it getting links from blogger blogs and my answer is sound yes. The main reason is link diversity.

You need to so the links coming to your website look natural.

The keyword here is natural - that's what we the webmasters are trying to do, build links to our websites ourselves while mimicking the natural link growth pattern of a website. For that reason we need links from different platforms and sites with different ip addresses.

Now, when we know that we need to find blogger blogs to get links from. It is easy. We also try to find blogs that are on topics similar to the website that we want to build links to.

All we need to is go to Google and type in inurl:blogspot.com + gardening (assuming that your blog is on gardening). You will get a long list og blogger blogs and all you have to do is to comment on different gardening articles with a link back to your website or blog.

Some of the blogs will allow you to use the keyword you are going after as a user name and some will not. When the latter - you can try to put a link in the comments section.

The html code is Your Keyword where Your Keyword is the word that you want to rank high in the search engines.

Strive to leave meaningful comments or most of them will be deleted and you would have wasted your time.

If you are like me, you will want to get higher return on your invested time when it comes to commenting on Blogger blogs. What I mean is that I want to be able to control my destiny so instead of commenting on someone elses blogs I would rather create my own blogger blogs fill them with content and point links to my money sites. This way 100% of them will stick.

All you have to do is to sign up with blogger for an account and create a blog on a topic similar to the one of your main website. Next, post 5 articles of 100 words each on it with a link in the content pointing to your main website or blog.

Since you already have filled your main website with content it won't be hard to come up with five articles of 100 words each. For example - if the topic of your blog is gardening the topics of the 5 articles could be - how to grow tomatoes, how to grow cucumbers, how to grow big tomatoes, how to store cucumbers so they last longer e.t.c, you get the idea.

Of course, 5 articles on a blogger blog with links to your main money making website won't catapult you to the top of Google but it is definitely a step forward. To get to the top of Google for your keyword fast and easy you need to look for 2 things - if there is a website with page rank 0 or 1 and if yes - the number of links from external sites that point to it.

If there is one and the competition is less than two million websites I can assure you that for a month and a half you can get to the first page in Google for that term. All that you need is to build more links to your blog or website than the website with PR 0 or 1.

It all sound well you might think but how on Earth I can build links fast, correct. Fortunately, it is easier than you think and my favorite method is called article marketing - that is writing and submitting articles to article directories with the sole purpose of getting links to my main websites.

It can be done either manually or with article submission software. In the beginning when I was just starting I was doing it manually, but once I was able to spend some money I bought an article submission software.

In essence it creates accounts for your on thousands of article directories (between 1000-2000 of them), verifies them and submit articles to them all while you do other things. Believe me - it is a huge time saver - you need about 30 minutes to have an article written and distributed to thousand directories. But not only that, with that piece of software you can go back and check how many of the directories have submitted your articles.

From my experience with one run of the article submitter I get about 300 links to the website that I am promoting at the moment. Given that you usually need about 1000 links to rank a website it means that with a few runs of the software you will have all the backlinks that you need.

Of course, you don't have to stop there, you want to add a few links from blogspot blogs and a few links from Wordpress blogs, so the links to your website look more natural to Google, but that's the fastest way I know to build a huge amount of links to my websites.

Earlier on I said that this method works if there are websites with pr 0 and 1 on the first page in Google. What I meant is that you can see results fast if there are such websites. However, even if all the websites in the top 10 results for a given keyword have pr 2 and higher using articles to build links will get you there as well, just not that fast.

To read more about Article Demon - the article submission software that I use - check out my Article Demon Review article.

And while there - don't forget to download my 3 Ways to Make Money with Article Demon Report ($97 value), no email required.

Setting up a Google Blogger blog is free and it gives your blog a home online, just like any website. Drive traffic there and start to make money on your site.

Your article marketing campaign will bring through a series of cycles as your standard business model adopted by all successful article marketers: you pick your niche, then you pick your product and you set up your website, followed by adding content to your website and finally you have to send traffic to your website to drive the purchase.

After you have set up your own website, and have picked your niche and having identified which product you are going to promote and sell, you are set to go.

You know there are many ways to drive traffic to your website. You have set up your website and have put in some contents to it, and is like you think it will go auto-pilot to make you money to earn your residual income?

But you said you still have a problem here?

It is not picking the niche? It is very simple actually. You can find a whole lot of niche that is very hot now.

It is not picking the product, aren't you? No problem, you have the Click Bank engine to help you to quickly identify which product are going to be very popular to your niche and is also going to be very profitable too.

Ways to Make Money Blogging

Make money blogging has become very popular in the internet. There are many service which you can use to make money blogging. There are many kinds of service in the internet and I've tried quite of them. In this article, I will tell you what kind of service you should register in order to make some money with your blog.

1. Google AdSense
Google AdSense is the best PPC (Pay-Per-Click) ad network to make money blogging. It has the highest pay out rate compare with other PPC program. Besides, it displays advertisement by tracking your blog content and keywords. Sign up for an account and wait for Google's approval. After that, you can paste your code into your blog and start monetize with it! It is as easy as pie.

2. BidVertiser
I highly recommend this PPC program. It works same as AdSense, but its main advantage over Adsense is it allows low payout at only $10 which means you need to make $10 in order to get paid. It also offers a nice revenue share. When a user signs up as a publisher and makes the first $10, Bidvertiser will credit your account with $10. When that same publisher earns $50, you will be credited with an additional $40.
3. Kontera
Maybe you will not so familiar with this program, but it is also a profitable PPC ad program. Unlike AdSense and BidVertiser, Kontera provide in-text ads, meaning that the advertisement is shown in your content. If you notice my blog, some keywords are double underlined. When you point to it, it will display a box-like pop up. That's Kontera. I realize that this is a good way to make money blogging. It can increase your passive income as well.

4. ClickBank

When your blog has more than 100 targeted readers per day or above, you may start making money blogging via affiliate marketing. For instant, you can sign up an affiliate program called ClickBank. The main reason I highly recommend ClickBank is because you may earn up to 75% commission per sale you make. Besides, there are more than 10,000 products that you can promote in your sites!

These 4 programs are the basic services you need to have in order to make money blogging. To increase your clicks and sales, you will need to spend more time on increase traffic. You will not get any clicks and sales if you have no traffic. Traffic will give you visitors. Content will determine whether your visitors will become your readers. This is also important.

Find out what I am doing by following my twitter. If you need to know more about making money online stuff, don't forget to subscribe my e-mail updates so that you will not miss any post.

The Best Way To Make Money Online 2010: Does Blogging Pay Off?

The buzz about blogging is that it's the internet's best-kept secret and the best way to make money online 2010. But go beneath the surface of the buzz and you will realize: it's not that easy. You can't simply open up a blog on some blogging platform like Wordpress and expect to become independently wealthy.

But as a home internet business owner, you can use blogging in two ways: to promote your company and to generate some additional income. If you love to blog and want to make money doing so, here are three key ways you can use it to earn cash:

Advertising

The majority of blogs make money through advertising. This can be done organically, by adding links to merchants throughout the text of your blog, or it can be more blatant, by allowing advertisers to add banner ads to your website. How you choose to incorporate advertising into your website is entirely your choice: some people find blatant promotions off-putting whil e others love it. Following are the most common ways to market:
Advertising programs there is a vast amount of advertisers out there from whom you can purchase an advertising program for your blog. These campaigns can bring pretty spectacular returns for a minimal amount of cash.
Sponsorship with sponsorship, advertisers come directly to you and offer to sponsor your blogs in exchange for plugging their merchandise. Although you may think this rarely happens, it can actually happen to the little guys or little girls, as was the case for 12-year-old blogger and fashion protg, The Style Rookie, who recently landed a deal with Target.
Affiliate Marketing affiliate marketing is the most common type of advertising in which you allow an advertiser to post ads on your site. In return, you earn a commission for every click on that ad.

Merchandising

Another great way to earn money for your web business through blogs is merchandising. Thanks to sites like Caf Press, you can create an ent ire range of products, from T-shirts to coffee mugs, which promote your blog. In the past, this kind of promotion would require ordering several hundred of one item and selling that inventory. With these new sites, orders are placed and merchandise printed on the spot, saving you literally thousands of dollars.

You can also try printed materials, such as eBooks. One popular blog devoted to stay at home moms offers potty training manuals for a download of $25 each. The blogger gets to keep 100% of the net profits, as opposed to the usual 20% royalties that print authors receive.

Begging

Finally, bloggers can earn money through begging, or to put it more genteelly, requesting donations. There are some applications you can add to your site that act like a virtual tip jar, allowing you to collect donations safely and securely. Although donations may not end up being your bread and butter, they should be considered as a part of an y blogger's fund raising plan.

If you have your own online internet business and want to use your power to fund a worthy cause, you can do that too! Many bloggers participate in "blog-a-thons," in which they write as many articles as possible to raise funds in a specified period of time. If you have a cause that you feel your business can help, you can spread the wealth by using your blog to raise funds for that purpose.

The Best Free Blog Hosts On The Net

For first time bloggers, a free blogging web site is a great way to get started in the blogosphere. Popular blogging web sites like Blogger and Eponym allow users to set up and host a blog without paying any fees at all.

This encourages people to start blogging, because the fact that one of these sites can provide you with all of the tools that you need to get your blog up and running without spending any money means that you have nothing to lose by starting a blog.

The fact that it is so easy to find a way to blog for free is one of the reasons why so many people who have never had any other kind of web presence before find themselves drawn to blogging.

By signing up with a free blogging web site, you may find it easier to get listed in search engines that you would if you were starting your own blog from scratch. For example, Google runs the free blog hosting site Blogspot and crawls its pages very often looking for updates, so if you have your site hosted by Blogspot you are almost guaranteed to be listed on Google's blog search engine.
This easy access to search engines can take some of the work out of promoting your blog, and can help you gain a following with a minimum of marketing effort.

If your blog attracts a large readership, you may want to consider moving your site. Many people feel that being hosted by a free blogging web site gives a blog a kind of amateur flavor that is fine for a new member of the blogosphere, but is not appropriate for a high-profile blog. Having your own domain can help you make your blog feel professional, and finding a company that will host your domain is not difficult or expensive.

Once your blog takes off, you will probably be able to sell enough advertising space to be able to afford to buy a domain and pay for a hosting package, and still have money left over. However, it does not make sense in most cases to invest in these glossy luxuries before you have a sizable readership.

Starting your blog on a free blogging web site is a great way to build a following before you spend any money on your blog. If and when your blog becomes popular and you are ready to take the next step and purchase your own domain, your readers will follow you to your new home. The fact that it is possible to use a free blog host like Blogspot, Blogger, or Eponym as a kind of incubator for your blog is great news for bloggers everywhere.

The Best Blog Template For Monetization (Making Money With Blogs Online)

Today was a productive day in my research for a Wordpress blog template that is perfect for search engine optimization and blog monetization. For about a month I have been trying to find the perfect template for TheMarketingSpartan.com blog. I did find clean looking blogs and some that claimed to be perfect for optimization, but they just weren't my cup of tea.

As my search continued, I decided maybe I should try and go into the blog HTML within each template section (sidebar.php, header.php, and so forth) and try to customize the blog myself. I'm not going to lie, it took loads of time. I would change code and it not be compatible with the Theme I was using, or change a theme to fit code and it not be compatible.

Another problem I ran into was the widgets and plugins I wanted to use for each blog. Once my HTML code "dumbness" was cured by trial and error. Widget and plugin placement became my next issue to tackle. Luckily my recent run-in with HTML code made the process go a little smoother.

The conclusion is, if you want to optimize a blog for profits, use a template that has a TWO column side bar just like this one (Studio Press - Found at THEMARKETINGSPARTAN.COM). Once you learn how to insert the code and move around desired widgets, it really goes from a science to a simplicity. I knew how to optimize a blog with simple plug-ins and Search Engine Optimization, but now I know how to optimize them for profits...pretty awesome I'd say. The next step is looking for some good affiliate programs.

Just another example of how TheMarketingSpartan.com continues to grow, by learning and now by teaching. I ho pe this tid-bit was helpful to you.

Niche Blogs templates review

Introduction Writing product reviews is one of the easiest ways of making money online. Apart from this if you happen to be very interested in the profitable future of affiliate marketing but are not quite certain about it, you would be looking at ways and means in which you can manage to setup your business without bothering much about your website design or writing reviews about products and services! This is where niche blogs templates come in handy. So if you are interested in a really effective affiliate marketing program, this is the best affiliate program in the market today. Concept of Niche Blogs templates Affiliate marketing is when you become the partner of a businessman who has this product to sell in the market. You are going to do his marketing for him upon your website and for every product sold; you are going to take a hefty percentage. This is the main concept behind affiliate marketing, and to make sure that you are a successful athlete of marketer, you have to have a running webpage, as well as areas where you can write reviews for different affiliate products being used in the market today. That is going to make up a successful affiliate marketing website. The idea of having an affiliate marketing program which would include lots of templates for site designs, especially for review sites, is a brain wave of Bobby Walker, and Farihan Bahon. These two enterprising young man got the better to help a person setup his own review site. You are going to be surprised to see how many of these particular review site designs are being used by top class review sites, especially when they have affiliate marketing fields, and affiliate programs also displayed upon the review site. How Niche Blogs templates are unique from other affiliate marketing program? First of all, you have to pay $37 a month for getting the benefit of niche blog templates. That is a bit too much, you might say, but many people out there have the tendency of wanti ng everything for free. Free Blog Templates and Why They are Important

In blogging, nothing is more important than effectively sending out your message to millions of potential readers online. Its not merely enough to post and log off and post again another day; you have to make sure that your message reaches your intended readers. Many find it easier to attract readers with a good blog design. And what better, not to mention cheaper, way to make your blog eye-catching than using free blog templates?

While getting heard in the vast World Wide Web is indeed an integral aspect of blogging, one way to make that effective or even realized is by usingfree blog templates. These are freely downloadable designs that you can install in your own blog to give it an entirely new makeover. There are several styles to choose from and the choice will mainly depend on your preference.
Of course, it is still crucial to choose one of the many free blog templates that will efficiently represent the entire message of your blog. You cant have a blog about food that has a template filled with stars and spaceships now, can you? You have to make sure that the design you choose is strictly a representation of your blog.

This is one of the main reasons why templates, free or paid, are important: it helps your reader realize what blog they are reading right off the bat with only the visuals. You only have seconds to capture your readers attention, and without a good template design, you might just miss out on it.

Templates also make your blog more functional. Aside from providing a cosmetic advantage, templates also add a bit of utility to your site. Since most of these templates are easily customizable, you can choose to incorporate add-ons to improve the functionality of your blog. These add-ons can be in the form of popular widgets, whi ch are specialized online gadgets that perform a single or multiple tasks. For instance, the set of images you add on one of your posts will be better viewed with a slideshow widget. This surely makes for not only easy viewing but hassle-free loading as well, which you also need to be mindful about.

If you're wondering where you can get these free blog templates, well, wonder no more because there is a plenitude of these templates online. Many, if not all, are created by other users and posted on other blogs and websites. Others are even created by professionals but are offered for free to attract potential clients.

Blog Site Promotion - How To Best Market Your Blog

Blogging is one great way to earn either passive or active income without actually stressing yourself out too much. You can blog just about anything that interests you and it should actually be about something you are passionate about so that keeping your blog updated will be an easy thing for you to do. Some people have even turned blogging into a full time earning opportunity because it's easy to follow through. Aside from a specific passion you want to talk about, it also takes a genuine love for writing to be able to profit from it.

But the best means to tell whether blogging is something that you can turn into something profitable are the readers you have. Blogging for yourself will not make your site profitable enough to place ads on it. It will not also pique the interest of other businesses which are looking for good places online where they can have ads commissioned. So you might want to do a little blog marketing in order to profit from this growing trend. Here are some quick tips you might want to follow in doing so:

Tap your own networks first - Before you brave a whole new audience of people you hardly knew and who may not even know you at all, start from those who are actually close or known to you. Let them be your first critics and try to get a feel of how you will be accepted publicly based from the reactions they will have upon seeing your blog site. There are numerous ways in which you can let them know that you already have a new website. You can either use the social networking sites to let them know or email them the link to your blog site.

Use the power of social media - There are a number of social networking sites which you can use to your advantage. You can start posting bits and pieces from your blog site to these social networking sites where you signed up for. You can easily do this through the use of TinyURL which helps shorten the links to your blog site.

Create bookmarks - You can also u se social bookmarking in order to create visibility on your website. This is a smart process to go through especially if you want to target specific keywords relating to your website. Plus, others would also get the chance to look at your bookmarks and therefore share them within their own networks if they like what you have written.

Blog Site: A Detailed Overview

A blog site is an interactive, two way mass communication. It is a revolutionary, step forward on traditional media and other sources of information and entertainment. All media, before Internet and invention of blog site, were essentially one way and audience did not have any methodavailable to providedirect feedback or opinion. Blog site allows, every reader, listener and viewer to publish his or her opinion online, as opposed to the opinions published by professional, paid journalists only, who, in most cases, are expected to follow the editorial policy of their employers, like any employee of a business, government or non-profit organization. Audience on the other hand are independent representatives of public opinion, who do not have to follow the editorial policies, since they are not theemployees of that particular medium or employer. This has changed the face of entertainment and information. Forced by rapidly growing popularity of Internet and every quality blog s ite, most traditional media are now welcoming the feedback and opinion from their audience, via their websites and a representative blog siteor simply through connections like direct telephone calls, emails andfacebook, twitter and other social networking sites. Before Internet and online blog site, the information and entertainment publishing was exclusively considered asa professional job and common people were presumed to be incapable of publishing anything to mass media. Media and publishing agencies would not even dream of publishing anything from a person who was not considered as professional journalist or artist or who was not pre-qualified by a qualifying authority, usually another professional or a group of professionals. Internet andevery blog site on it, broke this myth, which is still hard to digest, for many critics ofcitizen journalism, a new terminology, applied to presumably non-professional authors from general public, who are publishing their articles, com ments andwritten, audio and video blog site, without any pre-approval from a so called professional. Internet and blog site, has once again proved that approval doesn't need to come from a professional, but itmust come from general public, which isa democratic principle. Based on this extra-ordinary involvement from general public, many so called professionals are now challenging the authenticity of very public sources of information and entertainment like, YouTube and WikiPedia.

It is of great interest that the greatest disinformation, misleading, deceiving and even lying campaigns are historically, always ran by so called professionals. I think, what is causing serious problems in the acceptance of these extremely public and democratic media, is the same that is and has always been a problem in the acceptance of democracy, here and world over.Which is, special interest, involving rich, powerful, influentialand famous people and groups of people. So called professionals were always for sale and their loyalties were much easier to buy, compared to these millions of citizen, non-professional journalists, scattered throughout the globe. It is impossible to buy or control these true representatives of public opinion. So, trashthem by labeling as unauthentic. Just like, it is still, totally incomprehensible to too many, how can an inexperienced, newcomer, from a minority group, who hasminimal ties with status quo, can become the ruler of the world and most powerful person of our times. They cannot hate him, enough, for challenging thetraditional political wisdom.

Similarly, thecitizen journalists and entertainers and a blogsite representing them, are huge target of so called professional, sold out journalists. They are really scaredwith true face of unbiased, neutral and raw journalism and entertainment. As a matter of fact,it's not really that scary.Simply, not polished and made-up by professionals. It is just as bitter as any raw and straight forward truth. An average blog site is very hard to digest for special interest, which is used to with buying out so called professional journalists and entertainers.

On the other hand, it is very easy and simple for an average Joe to relate him or herself to a blog site. If you liked something , you can appreciate it right then and there. If not, you are free to pass on your criticism. If you think it is incomplete, you can go ahead and complete it, right away. If you think that some necessary facts are missing, you are most welcome to fill in the blanks. This is the beauty of a blog site, andit isunacceptable for the practice of deception, which relies on twisting and hiding the facts.

A blog site has the capacity to accommodate every point of view, from every standpoint and from every angle. Anyone who visits the site can go to the bottom and contribute, whatever he wants just by filling out an online form. No cumbersome typing on paper, mailing and postage andlong waits for approval from editors. Still, no guarantee for anything. Many super hit authors, writers and artists have faced serious repeated rejection from world's most renowned publishers, producers, directorsand editors, before they had their final break, which made them a super star. After that every publisher, producer and director wanted to hire them at any price, many ofwhom were the ones who rejected earlier. One can easilyunderstand, why it is so hard for these publishers, producers and directorsto say good-bye to this immenseauthority and power. How the hell these little idiots who were supposed to beg them for a chance, are now on their own go ahead and publish anything they want, any time they want? This is ridiculous. Instead of these publishers, producers, writers, managers and big media companies, now average Joes are going to decide who is good and who is not good enough? This does not make any sense? These stupid masses are taking away every thing one by one from privileged classes. Is this world is going toward a state in which there will be no elites? No special interest? No hierarchy? This is what native Americans tried to teach us when we first arrived here! Land belongs to everyone or commune. We didn't listen. Killed millions of them and now the time is pushing us back to same hard reality? No hierarchy? Everyone is equal in the ownership of this virtual land and can use it anyway he or she wants? Without any approval from higher authority? As a matter of fact, it looks likethere will be no higher authority. What a commoner approach!

The Best Blog Sites Avoid These 5 Mistakes

There are several ways to become one of the best blog sites within your niche or even the entire internet if you are that ambitious! In most cases it begins with creating something interesting to read for site visitors since this is the only way you will get more blog traffic. However it often goes beyond more that just simply the contents of what you have composed. Posting something people find interesting to read is a great start but you also need to be concerned with its presentation and relevancy as well.

With that said here are 5 common mistakes you need to avoid if you intend to get more blog traffic to your site!

Poor Formatting

The use of sub-titles, bullet points or even brief paragraphs makes viewing easier for the reader. Remember that people 'scan' more than they read when online therefore formatting content in this way will be more accommodating for site visitors. Too much text jammed together will only turn pe ople away!

Lack of Media

Whether it is video, screen shots, graphs or pictures it is best to break up the text with these aids. Offering visual aids of some sort helps engage folks while also encouraging them to make use make of their own imagination as well. Media like this can make the content they are viewing more interesting to read so always try to include it in some way!
Inappropriate Headline

The title or headline can dazzle but should always be accurately descriptive so as to not mislead folks who depend on it to sum up what they are about to view. Having a headline that does not correspond well with the composition it represents will result in many leaving the post and possible the site!

Going Way Off Target

You want more blog traffic then give site visitors more of what attracted them in the first place in terms of information! The platform you have needs to maintain relevancy to the theme it represents therefore keep your posts focused upon subject matter that does so! Drifting away from the theme of the site when posting updates will only confuse readers and eventually drive them away therefore stay on target!

Much About Nothing

Posting content that serves little or nor purpose is bad enough but when your posts are long you wi ll drive readers away. Think in terms of having a conversation with someone who begins rambling on making no point and just taking up your time. What is your first inclination? To walk of course and remember this is even easier to do when viewing something that makes little sense and/or is NOT interesting to read. If you have nothing worthy to post then wait till you do and do not compromise your reputation or tarnish a readers enthusiasm with sub-standard content!

There are several variables that go into becoming one of the best blog sites in your chosen niche. Of course your popularity will start with being sure you create something site visitors find interesting to read but there is more involved. The 'way' you present the content on your platform weighs heavily in whether it will generate more blog traffic for you and should not be overlooked. Viewing ease is a significant factor in the level of satisfaction sites visitors may experience. The 5 common mistakes discussed above point out common oversights many people are guilty of but can easily fix and avoid. Simply focusing more on maintaining relevancy and catering to the 'visual' experience people will encounter will serve to generate more blog traffic for your platform.

Developing The Best Blog Design For Readers

Developing the best blog design for your followers starts with simplicity in mind. Creating content that people will find interesting to read is important but so is the layout of the blogging platform itself!

Here are 7 quick tips that will help you design a blogging platform viewers will find easy to use and easy on the eyes as well!

Posting Consistency

Although the consistency of you creating content and posting it to your site is technically not part of the design, it is very important! This allows people to know what they can expect insofar as frequency is concerned and therefore plan their return accordingly. Visitor loyalty is extremely important and is a measure of the blogs success!

Welcome Comments

A blogging platform is the forerunner of social network sites since it is essentially a highly focus social site itself! With that being said always allow comments since this invite s interaction and makes people feel more welcomed!

Mission Statement

Although over time your updates will establish what the theme of your site is having a mission statement sums it all up instantly! Allow people to clearly understand what you will be creating content about and what you are trying to achieve so they can determine whether they have an interest or not.
Post Categories

By categorizing your posts you are helping visitors navigate the site much easier. When they find something that is particularly interesting to read they can now locate other posts that contain similar material. In this way they will not have to spend much time in their search which is a key to their overall satisfaction with the blog itself!

Internal Linking

By placing links within your updates you are proactively 'pointing' visitors to where they can find similar content. Of course the words or phrases that you place any hyperlinks on should maintain a strong relevance to where the reader is being directed!

Narrow Margins

Always be considerate of the 'viewing' ease of others in terms of eye strain. Keeping your text margins narrow gives you plenty of 'open' space so people can rest their eyes. Large blocks of text with wide margins not only contrib utes to eye strain but is also intimidating to people who land on your blogging platform! Upon landing on your site they encounter a 'sea' of words which will often cause many to leave just as quickly!

Font and Background Color

Avoid bright colors for fonts and background since the use of harsh colors also contributes dramatically to eye strain. Suggested background colors should be very light in color such as white or antique white while fonts should be kept to either a black or brownish coloring! Maybe these not such exciting colors but people are looking for something interesting to read and not a circus of colors!

The best blog design you can offer visitors should be based upon simplicity of use and presentation. Creating content that is interesting to read on a continual basis is hard work therefore do not waste your efforts by frustrating readers with a blogging platform that offers them a challenge! Create a layout tha t is both easy on the eyes as well as easy to navigate and your readers will have a more enjoyable experience. The 7 tips above focus on designing a blogging platform that will showcase the great content you've created in a way that enhances the viewing pleasure of any visitor to your site!

Best Blogging Guide That Guarantee Wide Readership And Reader Retention

Before joining the rat race you need to seriously consider the best blogging guide that will make your experience worthwhile, especially if you intend to earn revenue from your blog. There are many top bloggers doing very well out there hence it is advisable to check out their approach of blogging. Mimicking their best blogging practices will help you profit from your blog.

The best blogging guide is to make sure that your blog has a massive appeal to your readers. To achieve this, choose a niche that is broad hence providing your visitors will lots of new and valuable content. By now you should have noted that concentrating on a particular niche is fundamental in ensuring blogging success in terms of retaining readers on your blog.

Choosing a market niche with a broad perspective helps you to always post articles on different topics hence avoid boring your readers. It ensures you have a bounty of content to share with your audience. The assumption that what you write about will interest other readers is the root cause of many bloggers failing. Therefore, the best blogging guide is to know from your target audience what they want to hear or solve.

For example, if you opt to launch a blog about your pet not many people will find it fascinating when you keep talking about your best pet. You could be talking of your cat while there are people out there who fancy snakes. Preferably, the best blogging guide would be to start a blog about pet hygiene. This will enable you to have a wide range of target audience and topics to discuss about thus readers will not be bored.

What's The Best Blogging Software?

Bloggers have different opinions about the best blogging software. Here's a look at some of the systems available today and what each has to offer.

WordPress.com

The basic WordPress package is free. Although upgrades are available, beginners can usually get everything that they need from the free package.

The company also hosts free blogs designed for personal or business use. Upgrades for the hosting service are also available for a small monthly fee.

The company does not allow the use of their site for affiliate marketing blogs. Affiliates can still use the blogs, but they must provide information. It cannot simply be used to drive business to another website.

Tools included in the package allow you to design, publish and track the number of people that visit your blog. Templates, plug-ins and editors are also included, as well as spell check. The tools allow you to upload audio and video, as well as text files.

Self Hosted WordPress

If you like WordPress, but you feel restricted by the lack of features, you can create a Self-Hosted WordPress blog. The Self-Hosted WordPress blog is 100% customizable and allows more freedom with regards to layout, themes and plugins. You also have the freedom of expression on your blog. Your self-hosted WordPress blog is on your own domain and your own hosting account. It's your webspace, so you have all of the freedom associated with your own website.

TypePad

TypePad has received excellent blogging software reviews. The package can be downloaded directly from the internet for a reasonable price.

It includes all of the basics found in the WordPress package, as well as some additional publishing and tracking tools, including instant messaging, feed stats and ping-backs.

Other Brands

SquareSpace costs a little less than TypePad, but more than WordPress. The thing that reviewers complain about the most is the inability to upload audio files to their blogs when they use this program. There is no free hosting, although paid hosting is available and the software is free when you sign up for the company's hosting service.

Live Journal gets some excellent ratings for their design tools and ease of use. While the publishing and tracking tools are limited, the basic hosting service is free.

VOX gets the lowest ratings in blogging software reviews, even though the program and the hosting services are free. Usually, when something is free, people have little to complain about, but when blogs are important to your business or just something that you like to do in your spare time, even the freebies can be unsatisfactory.

Blogger and their hosting service blogspot.com get the highest ratings of all of the free services and scores even higher than some of the paid programs like Blog Harbor and Xanga. The platform was developed by Google, although the service is not owned by the company.

Is it the best blogging software? That's something that you can decide for yourself. Since, it's free. You may as well give it a try.

Best Blogging Software And Why Wordpress Is It

It has been a good thing for many people. Most are too preoccupied with other things or too lazy to get started trying it. Sometimes fear of the unknown stops them. Just not understanding the risk-reward ratio holds others back. Other times they never start because they don't know how. And there are always those who don't act because they don't know what the benefits are.

Any choice is easy to make when you have enough information. That's logical. So let's get more info. Let's look at 3 factors that motivated others to choose Wordpress as the best blogging software.

First off, Wordpress is the most talked about blogging software on the internet due to its large range of uses. Yes, I hear your objection that Wordpress might be to difficult for you to get started with but believe me it's really not. I concede your point, but you'll never know until you give Wordpress a try.

Second, Wordpress has an unlimited amount of free themes for you to download free of charge. Plus, they also have a wide range of plugins that will customize the look of your wordpress blog and they also have plugins that work in the background of your Wordpress blog executing different tasks automatically. But I won't get into that here.

Third and last, Wordpress blogs can be put on full auto-pilot. This will mean that you will only have to set up your Wordpress blog once and the automation will do the rest. I won't get into the automation end of things in this article because that's another article in itself. Once again, you have full control over what you do with your Wordpress blog. These are just a few of the main core ones.

Consider these 3 reasons and visualize how they might apply to you. They are strong enough reasons to convince many others to believe that the best blogging software on the internet is Wordpress. But, do they really apply to you also?< /p>

In view of all that, what do you think? Shouldn't you at least try the best blogging software online for yourself or are you still stuck on the fence?

Don't let information overload set you back any longer. Either way your going to have to make a decision on what blogging software you want to use. I guarantee you that Wordpress is the best blogging software, but if you choose to research blogging software further you'll find what I said here to be true.

Anyway, the choice is ultimately yours in the end and good luck to you when you make that decision on which blogging software you want to pursue.

How the Best Blog Sites Become Popular

One thing all the best blog sites have in common is that their content has been consistently updated and of apparent interest to their readers. As simple as this strategy may appear to be to many interested in building blog traffic to their site not everybody possesses the passion that will be needed. The blogging sites that enjoy the most success are the one that invest the time required for research and posting. This must be done on a consistent basis and over a long period of time! Popular blogs are the result of a marathon effort on the part of the individual blogger and are not an overnight occurrence! The key to maintaining this effort is obviously rooted in your motivation and what it is that motivates you!

Here are 3 very compelling reasons how possessing a passion for what you write about helps in building blog traffic and therefore the popularity of your site.

Content is Fast & Furious

Having the necessary pas sion for your 'work' will help keep both your interest and energy levels high for researching and than composing new updates for your site. Your ability to do this consistently and in a frequent manner will help increase your profile while also building blog traffic for your platform.
Discouragement is Non-Existent

Being passionate also means being very enthusiastic about the focal point of your passion and this helps to dilute or even eliminate periodic discouragement. Not every day will bring what you hope for therefore it can have a dampening effect on both your spirits and productivity. On the other hand if you maintain a high level of enthusiasm, it will be easier to work through periods of disappointment. By maintaining this consistent level of effort and productivity you site will only grow in popularity!

Efforts are Enduring

By and large those blogging sites that remain consistent and over a good stretch of time tend to also be the more popular blogs within their niche. Here again demonstrates the positive affect maintaining your efforts over an extended period of time has on the acceptance and standing of a blog. As previously mentioned possessing the right amount of passion will help to infuse you with a lot of enthusiasm. A natural 'by-product' of this enthusiasm is energy which of course helps sustain your efforts!

The best blog sites have all been able to consistently maintain their efforts insofar as updating their platforms with apparently interesting content. Since the blogging sites that enjoy the most success are the ones willing to invest the time for research and posting it stands to reason they are the most motivated. In almost every case the source of motivation is their passion and the discussion above helps to cast light on just how this passion helps popular blogs become what they are. It is clear to see that having an intense interest in your subject will not only make your efforts easier but more effective as well!

How to Become the Best Blog Site in Your Niche

Being the best blog site in your niche carries many advantages especially if you blog to make money. Operating a blog that has a strong following is a reflection of the dedication and commitment invested into the ongoing process of the blog development itself. Any blog owner/operator knows what it takes to attract and retain the average blog reader and this is not something that happens overnight.

Now if you blog to make money you can see how a strong reader base could benefit you financially. In addition your authority within the niche will make it all the easier for you to attract additional readers since other blogs will have the tendency to link to your site.

What we're going to focus on here today is the importance of paying attention to the comments left by subscribers at your site. Within these comments you can find valuable nuggets of information that can be used to improve not only the blog but even your marketing strategy.

Here a re 3 ways to use these blog reader comments that can help you become a more effective blogger and marketer.

Market Research Information
Putting out questions to your subscribers asking their opinions on certain products or trends could yield useful market research information as to current consumer preferences. Another approach could be polling your readers on what are some of their more pressing problems to which they wish they had a solution: what bugs them!

In both these scenarios the response of your subscribers could uncover a previously hidden niche or trend you could capitalize on. Market research information like this can easily cost a significant sum for a large corporation but you can collect this information right from your blog and use it to your advantage.

Blog Performance Feedback

Asking for opinions on the subjects of your post or perhaps the content itself can give you feedback as to whether you may need to make a change. Even simple inquiries about the layout of your blog, the graphics that are used, or the format of your posts could le ad to dramatic improvements for the site.

Remember your blog is really for your readers so you should strive to give them what they want.

Encourages Interaction

Involving subscribers in these polling processes or even merely responding to their comments helps complete the 'cycle' of interactivity. This creates a sense of community for subscribers and increases their satisfaction. People like to know that their words or opinions are being heard and better yet acted upon.

Being the best blog site within your niche comes with many advantages and benefits but it also translates into a certain amount of commitment. When you blog to make money the stakes go even higher. Learning to tap into any available resource that can enhance your blog development and marketing effectiveness is a valuable skill. Using comments left by blog readers as we discussed above will allow you to put more distance between yourself and your com petition. It is simply up to you to recognize and act upon any useful information a blog reader may have already left on the site for you even if it hasn't been solicited.

What is the Best Blogging Software to Use For Your Blog?

When it comes to choosing the best blogging software, there is so much choice available that it's difficult to know where to start. Before you can pick the best option for you, you'll need to decide whether you want to use a free blogging platform or not. Check below to find out more.

Free blogging software - not hosted by you

A lot of people start their blogging career this way. There's no cost of the hosting and there's not cost for the domain name as you'll be piggybacking on one of the big blog hosts. Which means you won't have any choice over your domain name. Instead it will be something like YourBlogName.blogspot.com or Squidoo.com/your-title, which isn't as snappy as having your own domain name but in the end it's your choice.

The biggest advantages of using free blogging software are:

Cost - by definition, it's free. You may even be given a revenue share on the adverts that appear on your blog or be able to control them completely. Quick to set up - there's no hosting to organize, no software to upload, it's pretty much sign up and start blogging. No technical skills needed - the text editors are usually like a cut down version of Word, so if you can type in to a box on a compuer screen, you're able to start blogging. To keep support down to the bare minimum, everything is intuitive and easy to use. Regularly spidered domains, which increases your chance of getting indexed quickly in the search engines.

The biggest disadvantages of using free blogging software are:

You're not in control. If your free host decides you've done something that breaks their rules or takes exception to your blog they can suspend you in the blink of an eye. This is serious if you're aiming to earn money from your blog, You don't own the domain name. You're just hitching a ride and if the owner asks you to leave, that's what you have to do. Less flexibility. If something isn't provided by the domain owner, that's usually it. Sometimes you can pay extra for certain features - the free Wordpress hosted blog service offers things like nicer themes as optional extras.

Free blogging software - hosted by you

Without a doubt, the most popular blogging software is WordPress, which is free. You can host your blog on their domain as in the options above or you can get a lot more control by using your own hosting.

For this, you'll need a web host and a domain name. Buy these from two separate places as that gives you more control and flexibility.

Then, with most hosts, it's just a matter of clicking a couple of buttons to install WordPress. Future upgrades are taken care of from the blog control panel.

Once you're done that, you can blog away to your heart's content, safe in the knowledge that unless you break any major rules (hosting copyrighted files for others to download, that kind of thing) then your blog is safe and completely under your control.

If you are likely to depend on your blog for any income at all, this is without doubt the best route to follow.

The biggest advantages of hosting your own blog are:

Control. You can decide exactly what goes on in your blog and can add in new themes and extra plug ins to completely customize your blog. No policy change worries. Free web hosting sites can and do change their policies. Hosting your own blog puts you in complete control so you don't care whether Squidoo, Blogger, WordPress or whoever don't like your content any more. It's yours - if you want to sell your blog and the domain associated with it, you can. Just like you can any other domain. This puts more value on your efforts.

Best Blog Hosting Service? Decide Between Blogger Or WordPress for the Best Hosting Site

The main benefit here is that if you have the best hosting site for your blog, you could have guaranteed clientele. You have higher chances of building high traffic and accumulate clicks that result to actual purchase. The question still begs though - which blog host out there could be beneficial?

First of all, not all online marketers are lucky enough to find a vendor who could provide his or her affiliates with their own blog site. If you are one of these affiliate marketers, you better take a look at these providers both contending for the title of the best blog hosting service provider:

Google Blogger
Its claim to fame is being definitely one of the easiest and foremost blog site providers to learn and use. It is preferred by majority of beginning blog users, whether for creating personal online journals or for affiliate marketing. It has very simple features. For one, it has ready-made eye catching templates. You could post text, photos and videos from the web or your mobile phone with or without HTML commands.

On the other hand, it is regarded the best blog hosting service for a lot of people because it enables upgrades over time of usage. You could add other free features such as video clips, polls, Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds, newsreels, site counter, among others. In addition, what makes it an extremely popular blogging platform is that it is for free. From acquiring a blog site to your domain name, you can have it all for added cost.

Its setup requires only minutes. All you will need is a Google account, whether from Gmail.com or other free email service. Log in to blogger.com with such account, and create title for your blog and choose blog template. Then you can start creating your posts.

WordPress.org
This one is considered to be the best blog hosting service provider for its highly optimized features for monetizing purposes of blogging. Major users of this provider include CNN, UK Prime Minister and B5Media Inc. It has quite a few plug-ins that are not present with the previous best hosting site. For one, a particular blog site has an entire segment accessible to paid members exclusively. This then presents you the opportunity to get close to affluent clientele.

You are also enabled to customize your site very uniquely as you do not have to solely rely on the pre-set templates provided by the site. This being said, you are in full control of the aesthetics and technical specs of your blog site. Then again, this kind of 'online freedom' is not for free. Its free version is known as the WordPress.com, which in turn does not allow ads with use of the likes of Google AdWords or Yahoo! Advertising Network.

Both these providers have proven their worth in terms of being the best hosting site in their own right. They clearly have their own pros and cons. They can both be monetized. Thus, it is now up to you to decide which one is the best blog hosting service provider that suits your needs and capability.

5 Hot RSS Tips To Increase MLM Blog Traffic

What is RSS?

RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'. Basically, RSS allows you to directly deliver your content to all interested parties... don't come to us; we will deliver the information to you or your website.

It syndicates your content. It lets you send updated headlines and brief summaries to your subscribers. In a nutshell; it's simply a more efficient way to get your content 'out there'.

Many people associate RSS with Blogs or Blogging because Blogs are usually written in XML or RSS format (code like html) so that these headlines and postings can be easily read and accessed.

RSS has been around for awhile but it really didn't catch on when users had to use RSS readers or aggregators but with the increasing popularity of MyYahoo, the Firefox Browser and Blogging...RSS is becoming: more popular, more accessible and more mainstream.

RSS feeds are the most common use for this protocol, and they allow websites to publish summaries of their content in a form that is easy for users to browse.

RSS feeds also provide a great alternative to the most common form of web content syndication, e-mail. With the massive amount of spam finding its way into the average mailbox, emailed updates of web site content are a lot less attractive (and effective) than they used to be. For web site administrators, RSS feeds provide an easy way to advertise new content on their sites without the headaches and hit-or-miss nature of mass email newsletters.

RSS feeds allow people to choose the content that they wish to view. RSS is a way of syndicating content, which means having all the information that you are interested in together in one central location.

To create an RSS feed you have two choices. First, you can code your own feed by using XML or you can consider using a software application that creates the XML for you.

You can create an RSS Feed without coding it yourself by using an easy to use software applications that can format your XML.

One example is FeedForAll.

You can also code your own RSS Feed.

Just like HTML code XML code contains open and close tags to designate the title, description and link. They are enclosed in brackets just like standard html. The close tag contains a forward slash.
The above just scratches the surface of what RSS is and can do; for example RSS also forms the basis of the software used to create many online 'blogs' or weblogs.

1. How do I Get My OWN RSS Feed?

First, you need to get an RSS Feed for your site. There are several ways to do this. Let's just stick with the easiest. You can use a site like www.blogger.com and start a Blog on your site's topic or any topic that interests you.

Creating a blog with sites like Blogger (owned by Google) or Bloglines (recently acquired by Ask Jeeves) is quick, fast, and painless. Within minutes you can have your own blog up and running.

This Blog will also supply you with an RSS Feed that you can place on your site. Get a XML or RSS orange button and place it on your site. Link it to your RSS Feed url - this is your atom.xml link if you're using Blogger.

You can also use a MyYahoo button so visitors can add your feed to their M yYahoo. Each time a subscriber opens their MyYahoo site; your RSS Feed will be updated.

You can also add 'MyMsn' and 'Bloglines' buttons on your site. Plus others, give your visitors every opportunity to subscribe to your RSS Feed or Blog, and you will see a marked increase in visitors to your site.

2. How Do I Place Other RSS Feeds On My Site?

Have a cool RSS Feed from your favorite site and you want to place that Feed's content on your own site. How is it done?

It's a lot easier than you think!

There are several ways, but we'll again stick with the easiest way. If you just want to place headlines on your site - try a free service like www.feedburner.com and you will get a headline animator. This will display the RSS feed's headlines with links to the content.

If you want to place other content from a feed on your site - one of the easiest ways I found is to use this free site: www.bigbold.com/rss digest/

This site will generate the source code (html or javascript) that you need to place into your webpages. It's good because it gives your code in several options: Javascript, Php file, and Iframe.

Keep in mind that Search Engines cannot or don't read javascript so if you want this daily updated content to be indexed please be aware of this.

Just take this code and add it your webpages where you want this content to go.

3. How do I place MSN Search Results Directly on My Site?

MSN has come out with their Beta Program using RSS in their search. You can now place RSS search results directly onto your website. It can enrich your site with daily updated content.

And it's quite simple to use; just add "&format=rss" at the end of the URL in your MSN search engine query. For example, to get an RSS Feed for 'tsunami relief' you would use this url: http://beta.search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=tsunami+ relief&format=rss

4. How do I place Yahoo Results on my site?

In Yahoo the URL would be slightly different:

http://news.search.yahoo.com/news/rss?p=tsunami+relief&ei=UTF-8&fl=0&x=wrt

Of course, in both cases you can change 'tsunami+relief' with the keyword or phrase of your choice to suit your website's content.

Yahoo also has an RSS Search Directory here: http://news.yahoo.com/rss

5. What are Tags? How can I use them on my site?

Tags are more or less keywords for blogs and you should take advantage of them to bring targeted traffic to your site or blog.

Tags have hit the radar lately because Technorati, which indexes 4.5 million blogs, started sorting blog posts by using tags.

They have created a folksonomy, drawing tags from different sources, mainly Flickr.com which sorts or groups pictures and from del.icio.us -- where you create a tag when you bookmark a page.

Or if your blogging software supports categories; this will be recognized by Technorati as a tag.

If you want to create a 'tag' it's very simple; just place this code in your blog:

Computers (remove asterisks in actual code)

and you will have created a tag for computers.
