Godaddy's Review

I am very happy to review Godaddy 's services, they are my number one choice for hosting!

about godaddy:

You probably have already heard of Godaddy because it is the number one domain name registrar and hosting company. They are also very famous for their provocative, sexual ads displayed on the Super Bowl each year.Godaddy has once again pushed the limits with its 2010 commercials, featuring spokeswoman Danica Patrick. They always find a way to create commercial that get people's attention.

Founded by Bob Parsons in 1997, Go Daddy is an Internet domain registrar and web hosting company that also sells e-business related software and services.

Godaddy has become the world's #1 choice for domains by providing innovative, competitively-priced products, delivering the highest quality customer service, and by always appreciating and listening to its customers!

rating:

Customer support: Excellent 9.5 (out of 10)

They have a world-class 24/7 live customer service, their technical support fixes take a very short time. Go Daddy has a variety of help and support options available, and theyre accessible all of the time. Go Daddy service representatives can also be contacted on the phone or through email.

Their technical support have excellent technical expertise.

Price: Excellent 9.8 (out of 10)

Godaddy's prices cannot be beat, are you wondering how they can charge as much as 70% less than our competition and still be in business, right? First of all they choose their promotions carefully and ensure every advertising dollar pays for itself. Second, the Company owns and operates its own services and equipment, which enables it to keep prices low and quality high.

Reliability: 9.9 (out of 10)

Godaddy is famous for its 99.9% network uptime commitment, no matter which hosting type or plan you choose, your site receives 24/7 maintenance and protection in their world-class data center.

Because they are such a big company they can afford to provide their customers with the latest server technology, which allows their serves to run at maximum speed.

my personal experience:

I have been a loyal customers for 5 years now initially it was because of the cheap price. All my websites are hosted by them and would never use anyone else. I have never had any problems with downtime, their 99.9% uptime guarantee means my site is always going to be live without interruption. Their customer support always has been excellent, they are very helpful when calling with questions, and have 24 hour support. The waiting time for calls isn't very long (2 -5 minutes). I challenge you to find an equally good support team elsewhere.

The only problems I have are the ones I create myself out of stupidity. The verdict? I recommend Godaddy to all my clients. It's the best service out there!

Weak points:

A thing that I don't like much is the control panel. It is a little bit confusing, it's just a pain finding what you want, but once you found what you want it works well enough, The interface is filled with Godaddy ads and promos. I have heard that their team are working to make it more user friendly, the new and improved version should be out in few months.

summary:

If you want the fastest speed possible and want good customer service for an affordable price Godaddy is your best bet.

Data Center Colocation

Complete control over your web hosting provision!

Each data center has full power backup in case of an outage. Generators, in combination with UPS systems, guarantee maximum availability. Industry-leading Service Level Agreements (SLA) define the level of guaranteed availability, ranging from 99.9% to 99.999%. The configuration of the electrical connection for a clients equipment depends on his specific requirements.

Data centre collocation industry offers comprehensive approach to information technology, enables businesses to focus on increasing revenue and profit, not managing technology. One can benefit from this experience and gain direct access to the most reliable, widely deployed networks in the world.

A clients server will be in good hands with collocation services. Take benefit of such services from our years of experience and quality non stop support. Gain direct access to the most reliable, widely deployed networks in the world. Such data centre eliminates the need for expensive equipment such as generators and UPS's as these are all included in the standard service charge. For the highest availability colocation services you can compare online and choose the right place. Data centre team of professionals offers you fully managed support services including OS installation and configuration to something as simple as a server reboot. With a round the clock on site staff of highly trained engineers and support staff, clients servers will be backed by the best in server collocation professional services.

Colocation services are available via some web hosts through the use of their private cages, or you can pay a data centre directly to have your server located in a cage which is run by the data centre itself. Other equipment such as networking equipment and storage equipment can also be colocated within server racks. Colocation hosting has many advantages above ordinary dedicated server hosting, such as the fact that most data centres provide a remote hands service if your server needs a task doing such as an OS reinstall which can only be done from the console; also, the connectivity that your equipment receives will probably be better than that you would receive on a dedicated server, the reason being that your equipment is surrounded by your own equipment meaning that you dont have any other customers around you that could be a burden on your connection speed.

Data Colocation network is wired in a redundant, meshed configuration for maximum uptime. In the event of a failure in any one device the redundant hot-spare takes over automatically within seconds. Not that our equipment is liable to failure in the first place, with redundant PSU's, processing engines and blades. In practice, this means your own server is installed in a rack in one of the data collocation centre, taking advantage of our bandwidth and network resilience to connect to the Internet.

Choosing The Best Free Blogging Site

Choosing The Best Free Blogging Site

Choosing a free blogging site can feel overwhelmingbecause there are so many options. There are somelarge free blog-hosting sites that dominate theblogosphere, but there are also smaller sites. Whetheryou decide to join up with an established site likeblogger or whether you choose to sign on with arelatively new venture depends on what your prioritiesare.

Reliability is perhaps the best reason to opt for a largeand well known free blogging site. When you choose tohave an established brand host your blog, you can feelsecure that your blog will not crash often and will notdisappear in the middle of the night. A company thathas been around for a while is likely to have theresources to make sure that its clients aren'tunpleasantly surprised by any technical glitches. However, many bloggers decide that this isn't enoughof a selling point. The bloggers who choose to go withsmaller, newer blog hosting sites do so for a variety ofreasons, but perhaps the number one advantage is afairly abstract one. Bloggers tend to relish the fact thatthe internet is a place where the underdog has a strongchance of success, and by choosing to have a smallcompany as a blog host, a blogger is casting his or hervote for David against Goliath.

Then, you can openblog. Blog is short for weblog, which simply means a series of online posts presented in reverse chronological order. That's all! Most blogs are text, but there are also photo blogs and video blogs. The rest of blogging 101 has to do with the technical side of things. If you are setting up a blog, you will need a platform, a web host, and a domain.

Word Press is an open source Content Management System (CMS) widely used as a blog publishing application. It is the most popular Content Management System being used nowadays. Content Management Systems store the content separate from the interface of the web site while maintaining a neat look.

Word Press can be used as a complete Content Management System. It allows a simple and easy way of writing and editing posts as well as adding pages. This feature of Word Press allows you to set up the look and feel of the web site and add multiple web pages as and when needed. It also allows you to set up any page as the home page and rest of the blog inside the web site. There are a variety of different strategies for SEO that are used by different companies among these are keyword listing, site code optimization, and search engine rank positioning.

You need to know the basics of website hosting in order to evaluate the different plans available. No matter how well you have designed your web site and optimised the SEO strategy, if you don't have the right website hosting plan you will be negating all the benefits of your hard work.

A key necessity to your business strategy is to have your own online web-site. The question you need to be concerned about is whether you want to use a no cost hosting service, or if you can afford to pay hosting fees. Many sites offer web hosting for free, which benefits everybody; however, free business hosting might not be able to accommodate all your business needs. You have to carefully weigh both options before making a decision.

There are also the others concerns like advertising. Are you equipped to handle advertisements that can take up most of the space or could annoy your viewers? Free hosting plans for your web pages often require such large ads and are the reason that people get free hosting in the first place.

Conclusion

Are you planning on launching an online business? You optimise the site code, the content and the title all in an effort to bring as many eyes to your web site as possible. Having an understanding of website hosting can help you to optimize the many plans available. Web hosting is absolutely essential to your strategies if you wish your web site to get its own place in the Internet. You have two choices when you think of hosting. Selecting A Web Host-What You Must Know

All internet marketers realize the value of selecting a good web host for your website. If you are marketing to any type of products on the web via your website or blog, backing it up with a credible web hosting service is necessary to be successful. If you advertise any kind of services on the internet with your site, having the capability to back it up with a reliable web hosting service is vital to your long term success. However, many people new to the whole web marketing game aiming to have their own site have absolutely no clue as to what to look for in a web host before they set their site up. In this article, we will discuss three easy suggestions that can help you come to an intelligent conclusion when picking out your web host. You will find new products being launched constantly for example Wealthy Affiliate which will take advantage of Web hosting.

Be sure you are registering your domain name apart from your web host. There are several reasons for this but the main reason is that you dont want to get locked with your webhost if you need to change Dont make that mistake. Dont bother registering with your host since it is possible to find less expensive ones later on. If you have a lot of domain names its especially important for you to manage them all in one place. Sites like Netfirms.com and Namecheap.com offer a great control panel for managing your domain names, so you can go for either of them.

its important to note though that you will be sharing a server with other websites. This is why you should avoid any web host with black holed IP. In other words, if your web host is helping spammers play their game or is lending space to porn websites, its not the right place for you to host your site. You dont want your website to get tangled in this mess and have it banned from the search engines and what not. If you want your sites safety to be recognized you may need to pay a little more for a better web host which is worth is in the long run. You will find services being launched all the time such as Wealthy Affiliate which will benefit from Web hosting.

You have to make certain that the web host you pick runs on a strong redundancy protection plan. This is very essential when you pick little web hosting services. Find out if they own dedicated data centers and have them wholly protected with redundant power. This is something that you cannot put off.

In conclusion, from the above article it becomes clear that choosing the right web host is all about keeping simple thing things in mind. These tips are quite simple to put into good use, but if you ignore them you might encounter issues with your hosting in future.

Research your options well and take the time to compare hosts accurately when its time to choose a web host. So dont rush into your choice, but make your decision wisely after careful consideration.

Web hosting is by no means , a brand new type of marketing , but its still very powerful and new launches like the seonuking launch is going to be using it.

Find Cheap Web Hosting That's Quality, Too

If you're looking for cheap web hosting, that probably means that you're new to the creation and maintenance of a website, and you're looking for information in order to make a proper decision. It's difficult to know what to look for when you have no prior experience with web hosting or running an online website. I'm going to tell you how to find cheap web hosting that is also quality web hosting. I'll explain what you'll need, what you'll get, and how to determine the best fit for your web hosting needs.

If you're searching for cheap web hosting, the cost of a plan is probably your primary concern. I can tell you that there's no need to pay any more than $12.95 per month for a web hosting plan. In most cases, you'll get by just fine (and then some) with a cheap web hosting plan that's considerably less. Depending upon what services and features you'll be needing, you'll pay somewhere between $4.95 and $12.95 per month. I am personally recommending two of my two favorite online web hosting companies, HostGator and The Design Shoppe. Both offer cheap and reliable web hosting with many quality features and services. I have direct and indirect personal experiences with both sites, and I would absolutely recommend these two cheap web hosting companies over and above all others.

Different web hosting plans come with different features and options. The cheapest web hosting plan, usually between $2 and $5 per month, is limited in the amount of features. If you think you'll want to expand your business by adding additional domains or websites, you'll want to make sure your plan includes unlimited add-on domains. You'll also want to make sure that you have access to any tools and features that you might need for your online endeavors. A good middle of the road quality, but cheap web hosting plan will include 1 to unlimited SQL databases, email services like forwarding, auto responders, etc., mailing lists, Fantastico (which includes a number of EXCELLENT tools for expanding and running an online business), website stats and access to an online shopping cart for use on your website. You CAN get all these things, sometimes in unlimited quantities, for a cheap monthly price.

Many people have a hard time estimating how much space and bandwidth might be necessary to run a website online. Starting small and working your way up will be fine. One of the cheap web hosting companies listed in the resources section below has unlimited space and bandwidth, so this issue will not be a problem. The other company offers plans based on space and bandwidth. I can tell you the amount of bandwidth you receive with any plan will suffice until you begin to get heavy traffic. At that point you can email their STELLAR customer service department and you can increase your bandwidth without changing plans. No worries there.

Nowadays there's a neat little feature called add-on domains. If you select a plan that allows unlimited add-ons, you can add additional websites to the same hosting account whenever a new idea pops into your head. This is one of my favorite features because I like to buy URLs the way other women buy purses and shoes. It's an addiction. What can I say...

You might also be interested in making money from a cheap web hosting company's affiliate program. Each of the web hosting companies I've listed below offer an affiliate program. That means, when you figure out how immensely satisfied you are with the entire experience of having chosen one of these cheap, but quality web hosting companies, you'll want to tell all of your friends who are jealous of your online income. Sign up for the affiliate programs and send them to your link.

Another way to look for cheap web hosting sites that are also quality is to check online for web hosting reviews. Make sure you figure out who's hosting the review site, as they may have ulterior motives for posting. I can tell you, again, that I would highly recommend both of the web hosting companies that I've listed in the resources section. I am confident that no matter which one of the two that you choose, you will be a long-time satisfied customer. I certainly am.

Free Web Hosting - Not As Good As It Seems!

Many of you who are beginners in the web design industry will want to start off with a basic, free web hosting service that provides a good amount of features, bandwidth and web space. I know, I've been with a lot of free web hosts.

So what makes the free web hosts so good looking? Well, of course, there's the point that it is completely free, with no hidden costs or catches, unlike those "Post2Host" sites, which I personally really don't like becuase you're spending all of your time, in fact, more of your time posting on forums than creating your actual website!

Every month or so, I look on this website, () for new web hosting services to see if there are any upgrades I can upgrade tofrom my current hosting.

There are many things I check before choosing and signing up for a free web hosting service:

If the web host you are looking at checks all the points above, then it will probably do a good job for you and your website. However, sometimes it seems that after a while being with the web host you're with, the speeds you get deteriorate. It's almost as if, for the first month or so, you're on a list of "new people", who WILL get full speed and a reliable FTP server, but then after that, it just seems like you're on a list of "Oh, they've been with us for a while so they know we're good so we'll just put them on the low speed list to reduce CPU usage" then that's a bad thing.

I have experienced this, in fact, I still am, because the web host I am with did indeed start off really well. They stuck to their promises. But after a while, I find myself seriously struggling to upload anything to my website, which is, of course, a major problem for me, because I like to keep my website updated with blog posts and tutorials.

There are very few web hosting companies who will indeed provide a 100% reliable web hosting service. If you manage to find one, please leave a comment suggesting your ideas.

OK, that's it for this article, you can check out my website at and obviously, my other Bukisa content as well.

Thanks for reading. :)

How to sell products and services online by building your own website on a shoestring budget

Whole books could be and have been written on the subject of selling products and services online. I will limit this to some basic first steps for those who want to set up their own website and start selling on a shoestring. You must first ask some basic questions for each step in this process.

What am I selling?

This may seem obvious but what you decide to sell affects the type of website you build. If you plan to buy wholesale products and resell them, you will probably be handling a whole catalog of products from your wholesaler. You will need some kind of dynamic, ecommerce website with a shopping cart and the ability to process credit card payments. If you are making your own products, you will need your own website with an order form and payment buttons or a shopping cart or someway to take payments. Here is a list of questions, by no means exhaustive, to ask yourself about your products:

1) If I am buying wholesale, will I buy the products, store them, then ship them out myself?

2) If I am buying wholesale, will I have the products dropshipped to my customer (the customer places the order with you, you place the order with the wholesaler, and the wholesaler ships the product to your customer with your name on it)?

3) If I am making my own products, how will I store them, price them, and ship them?

4) How many products will I sell?

5) Do my products have variations such as size, color, etc.?

6) Will I sell digital products?

7) How will I take payments?

Again, how you answer these questions will determine the type of website you build. For instance, the answer to #5 may determine what shopping cart you use.

Can I build the website myself or do I need a professional?

If recording on a VCR seems frightening, you probably should find a web designer. You can find a wide range of pricingjust try a Google search. If I were going to find a designer, I would probably stick with someone local unless I found a really great price. You just never know what you might get on the Internet and end up paying more than you can afford. Building a website yourself is really not as difficult as it seems, and there are a lot of choices. Costs can run from a few dollars a month to nothing but your time and labor. You should decide if you want to pay for web hosting or find a free site. There are pros and cons for both:

Paid Web Hosting: You can get some good deals at decent web host companies such as Host Monster, Blue Host, Lunarpages, etc. There are lots of choices but dont get overwhelmed. Always start with a search for web hosting and review. You can find lots of reviews and rankings for most of the major hosts. Check four review sites and find the web host that appears on all four, and meets your requirements for price, storage (you need space for all those pictures, videos, and cool stuff youre planning), bandwidth (my definition: the amount of traffic your website can get before your web host demands more money), ecommerce capabilities, etc. Average price is about $5 or $6 dollars per month though you usually have to pay for a whole year up front. Most give you one free domain name as well for a savings of about $9 or $10 dollars.

If youve never had a website before be prepared for a bit of a learning curve. Once you sign up you will be handed a CPanel and turned loose on the world wide web. Dont panic. Explore your CPanel (or control panel) firstit will have things like email accounts, a site builder of some kind, lots of things youve never heard of like Mysql, Cron jobs, MIME, Ruby on Rails, etc. It hopefully will have Fantastico and/or Simple Scripts. These two will help you install the software to build your website. They will also uninstall them so dont be afraid to check out all the programs available. Follow the instructions, dont panic and utilize the help sections and forums. Some of the programs that will be provided include: Joomla, Magento, OSCommerce, Cube Cart. If I can build a website myself, anyone can.

Free Websites

There are lots and lots of free websites. Again, do a search for free web hosting and review. Check which has a great chart listing 254 free hosts. Many of these are free because they place banner ads on your site; others limit storage and bandwidth and hope you pay for their premium services; some are easy to use but not very customizable.

A few of the ones Ive used are: ads and they do have a premium service. Wix is all flash and very fun to play around withits just drag and drop. I have found it to be a bit buggy but that may just be my browser. For selling products, they provide flash Paypal buttons. Yola.com (formerly synthasite.com) is another free oneno ads and no limits on storage or bandwidth. You can only use their templates and theres no way to access the CSS, although they say theyre working on this. Again, Paypal buttons is the way to sell products and services online with this site. Yola is very easy to understand for even the newbiest Newbie. A third free site is no ads, 100MB storage and 1GB bandwidth. They also have premium services. This is also very easy to use, and you can download their templates to customize the CSS and some HTML. You can use Paypal buttons or they have a new ecommerce program. The free one allows only ten products. With all of these you can use your own domain name, b ut I wouldnt buy them from these websites as they all charge too much. You should be able to get a domain name for $10 dollars or less and have it redirected to your free website.

The Internet provides a lot of choices for building your own website. You can get online and selling your products or services with a budget as low as $10 and your time and labor.

How to Find Cheap Low Cost Web Hosting

Going for cheap web hosting, however, doesn't mean sacrificing quality--after all, what's the point of even having a website if the company you registered with could disappear at any moment, taking your website with it? If you want the best cheap low cost web hosting, learn exactly how to find it.

Step 1: Choose between free and commercial hosting. While there are definite advantages to cheap web hosting, free web hosting is cheaper than even the cheapest web hosting (at least in terms of cash). The non-monetary cost of free web hosting is that ads are usually required to be a part of your web page, your domain name is not completely customizable and is fixed with the company you register with, features are limited, you may be restricted to the host's website builder and templates, and bandwidth and file size may be less than you need. If you buy cheap low cost web hosting, all of these problems vanish.

Step 2: Search the internet--the simplest step in finding cheap low cost web hosting. Target input from forums by adding the word "forum" after your search. Browse the results and soak up the info.

Step 3: Check out listings of hosts that offer the best cheap web hosting such as (link and subsequent links to sites in Resources section), b2evolution's Low Cost Hosting section, and thewebhostinghero.com's Cheap Web Hosting Companies section.

Step 4: After finding a potential cheap low cost web hosting company, perform an internet search on the host's name followed by the word "review" or phrase "customer review." Compare reviews from multiple sites so you get the best picture of what that host is about.

Step 5: Get the features you want. With so many features to consider, the best way to know what features you want is to compare the features of several hosting plans side by side. If one plan has something the other doesn't, look into what that features is and if it's worth it.

Step 6: Buy the right length plan. Cheap low cost web hosting plans are usually offered in periods of one month, six months, one year, and two years. The longer the plan is that you choose, the better the deal. Keep in mind, however, that once you choose a web host, you'll be stuck with it for whatever length of time you paid for.

Tip: If you enter a site, make plans to buy, and then get distracted and put off the buying until some other day--you might find the price has increased the next time you visit. To get the price back to what it was, search the internet for something like "top 10 web hosts," and click through another website to get to the host that you want to buy from. If you clicked through the right website, your discount should be back.

Dedicated Hosting

A Look into the Economy Web Hosting Web hosting is the process of renting a space in a web server. A website is described as a collection of files that are connected with HTML codes in order to display texts and graphics on a computer. A website will only be considered complete once it is displayed on the internet. And in order to be seen by the world, the computer should be connected to the internet. Web hosting is commonly used by people to promote products and services online. However, in order to achieve your needed results, it is recommended that you choose the best web hosting service that can meet your specific needs. Due to the increasing and changing demands of users, manufacturers have developed various web hosting services in order to provide for the specific needs of each user. Always remember that any computer can function as a web server, but what makes it a server is the software that it contains. When a user decides to buy dedicated server, he/she should be aware that the monthly fees to be paid includes the maintenance and the upgrading cost of the systems software, the price of keeping it available online for 24 hours every day, 7 days a week in a protected data system with a powerful internet connection. Listed below are the different types of web hosting services available. SHARED HOSTING In a shared hosting service, several websites share a common web server. A physical web server can host numerous websites at a time depending on the type of web host. Web servers contain high quality and powerful computer that can support a large number of websites without encountering any problems. However, it is unavoidable for a web server to encounter some problems with regard to the speed of the computer. This is the reason why it is important for the hosting service to charge fees that will be used for the maintenance and upgrading of their services. DEDICATED HOSTING In this type of web hosting, a specific web server is assigned to a single user. Because of this, the user has the option to host multiple websites, can change the configuration of the software and can even handle greater site traffic when necessary. Because of these features, most users opt to buy dedicated server as compared with the shared hosting. In the dedicated server review, it is indicated that a good dedicated server usually costs from $200 to $500 every month. CO-LOCATION HOSTING In a co-location hosting service, the user owns the web server hardware, while in a dedicated hosting service, the user rents the web server during the hosting period. Since the user owns the web server in a co-location hosting, it gives him more flexibility when it comes to control and maintenance. Because of such features, the cost of a co-location hosting depends on the bandwidth and rack space required and can range from $500 to $1000 per month. Most web services offer economy web hosting plans. An economy web hosting service provides everything that the customer needs for personal use or for a small business.

3 Simple Steps to Your Own Website - Explained.

So you want to build that website for whatever reason, perhaps youve started a business or simply wish to share pictures of the new addition to your family. Let me tell you its easier than you think all you need is directions that you can follow and you will soon be online.

Lets talk what it will cost upfront. For $10 - $20/month you can have a working website (Imagine: ), available to anyone in the world with internet access. Thats a trip to your favourite fast food joint. (Yes, you can afford it!) There are also some ways of getting a free site still residing at , but lets learn about all those weird internet terms first.

There are 3 basic components required to building a personal, custom website. You need:- A domain name- A hosting account and- Content written in HTML or some other web language. I know, whats a domain name!!!?

Here is an analogy I teach:

You live in a home that is built on a certain piece of land (that you rent or buy). That piece of land has a specific address.

Your website (a collection of individual web pages) sits on a hosting account that you rent. That hosting account is found at a specific address called a domain name.

Your Home Your WebsiteYour Street Address: e.g. 1 John St, Anytown Your domain name: e.g. Your plot of land Your hosting accountYour physical house Your web content

Here is the 3 step process:STEP 1: Choose your addressSTEP 2: Rent some space on a computer connected to the internetSTEP 3: Build the house you want and place it on the space you bought in step 2

Lets explain each step:STEP 1: Choose your address (a domain name)With the internet you can choose what you want your address to be (your domain name). What are you selling? What would make a cool name? Understand that after over 10 years of public internet access a lot of good names have been taken. So get creative, and be unique but understandable. An easy place to start with is your full name for a family/personal site or your product name for a business site. Make a list of about 10 possibilities that you like in this format Move to the next step.

STEP 2: Rent some space on a computer connected to the internet (A hosting account)With a quick search for the words Web Hosting on the internet, you get a list of web hosting companies all eager to sell or rent you some space on their computer. GoDaddy.com and 1and1.com are some recommended companies feel free to look into others, but there are thousands upon thousands so dont waste your time searching for the cheapest (you pay for what you get, but $10+ will get you a decent hosting account.

Many of the hosting companies will either give you or sell you your choice of domain name at the same time you start your hosting account. Bring out your list from STEP 1, and when instructed in the purchase process, enter in your first domain name choice. You will be informed if that name is available or not. Keep trying out your names in order of your preference until you find on that is available. Finish the purchase process and let the hosting company instruct you on how to access you account. (Theyll send you an email and if you go with one of the companies I recommended, you can call them with your questions.)

STEP 3: Build the house you want and place it on the space you bought in step 2You have some choices to make here:A - You can ask someone to build you a site.B - You can build it yourself.C - Use a free website builder (like a blog)Each has its pros and cons.

The first option is great if you can afford it and can find someone reliable. If you want cheap, post a job at your local high school someone in computer club will be able to help you for really cheap. The problem is that they may not always be around when you need them to make changes. Enter choice B

Its great to learn a new skill, and you can learn for free online just invest a little time. Remember once you know how you own that knowledge forever and you will never depend on someone else to build your site. Again search online for how to build a website They will tell you how to design, build and upload your site onto your hosting account form STEP 2.

If you dont really require a customized design and all you want to do is place some text and perhaps some pictures online. I suggest starting whats called a blog - these are often free, and have a really simple HTML CODE FREE way of adding your content. All you do is type and publish. You can often still have your own domain name here, but each blogging company is different. Again search online for blogging and read what the various companies offer.

ContentThere is one thing that is really important and that ONLY you can do! That is come up with the content and the idea. Think about what you have to offer and what problem it solves for your visitors and prepare your content so as to answer that problem. E.g. You write great jokes. People are looking for jokes your website should give people some jokes and perhaps they can register for your daily joke email. Write simply, write short, write clearly. As time goes on, remember to keep your site fresh. Keep the content updated and relevant to your ideal visitors.

The goal of this article was to give you easy steps of how to get a website for yourself. Naturally you can learn more about each step, and there are many people who can give you help, but now you can start the journey. Create your list of domain names, purchase a hosting account (including the domain name you want) and build your site and keep the content fresh.

In future articles Ill take about next steps:

- I build it, but they aint coming to see it.

- I built it, but nobodys buying

- I built it, but I dont know how to improve it.

A journey of a million miles starts with one step so go to step 1 and start. (Dont worry this is not a long journey but its exciting!).
